AND PREJUDICE NOMINATED!
Musical receives two nominations for awards!
Gurinder
Chadha’s Bride and Prejudice, which recently topped
the British box office charts, has picked its first award
nominations at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA)!
The musical, which stars Aishwarya Rai in the lead role,
bagged two nominations for Best Technical Achievement and
Best Achievement in Production. "This year's nominees
reflect the growing strength and diversity of British independent
filmmaking," said BIFA founder and director Elliot
Grove. Bride and Prejudice is currently number ten in the
UK box office charts.
