MOVIE REVIEW: AAP KI KHATIR (2006)
Star cast: Akshaye Khanna, Priyanka Chopra, Ameesha Patel, Dino Morea, Suniel Shetty
Priyanka Chopra is coming on the back of a huge successful flick as in Krrish, with a potential blockbusted on the cards, in the form of Farhan Akhtar’s remake of Don.
This romantic comedy has been directed by Dharmssh Darshan who is working for the first time with Akshaye Khanna, and not with his usual beloved actors, Bobby Deol or Akshay Kumar. The story revolves around London based Anu (Priyanka), who has broken up with her boyfriend Danny (Dino). She returns to Mumbai to take part in her step sister Shivani's (Ameesha) wedding celebrations.
Shivani is marrying Kunal Shah (Suniel Shetty), who also happens to be Danny's best friend. Anu is keen on getting back with Danny, so she asks her colleague Aman (Akshaye) to play her escort in order to make Danny jealous. In the process, Aman falls for Anu. Doesn't it sound like it's inspired by Hollywood flick Picture Perfect? RS Predicted Rating: 6/10 Click here to view the movie stills of Aap Ki Khatir. Previewed by Tony
