Krrish on UFO Moviez digital cinema screens

Rakesh Roshan’s magnum opus ‘Krrish’, the flick which broke the records and emerged as a mammoth blockbuster of the year, strikes digital gold with the widest ever release on UFO Moviez Digital Cinema Screens.

UFO Moviez is the digital cinema network that has been launched by Valuable Media Pvt Ltd. (an Apollo International Subsidiary). Filmkraft Productions (India) Pvt Ltd’s ‘Krrish’ ignited 87 UFO screens in the first week and 90 UFO screens in the second week and this continuation is still going on rapidly.

These UFO screens account for 15% of the total number of screens that the film opened with and also marks the biggest ever digital release of a Bollywood blockbuster on a single digital network platform. ‘Krrish’ wrote history and oozed out as one of the biggest openings in the entire history of Hindi cinema. It fetched the whopping earning close to Rs. 70 crores in the first week. The movieopened at theatres across the world with a record number of 790 prints, 250 of them in overseas screens alone making it the first Hindi film to be released with such a large number of screens.

Also 'Krrish' was released for global digital screening with 925 cinema screens exhibiting the film world over. Thus, UFO Moviez, in its first year of operation itself, has made its presence felt by accounting for 10% of the total digital film screens in the world to exhibit KRRISH within the second week of its release itself.
