Shah Rukh Khan making enemies all over

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is facing more enemies than ever before, as many of his close associates are turning their backs to him.

First it was Ram Gopal Verma, who favoured the Bachchans, and ditched Shah Rukh Khan’s home production of Time Machine. Then came the Bachchans, with Bachchan Snr plugging son Abhishek, in places where Shah Rukh was king. Now comes the biggest of all shocks. YashRaj, the production banner in which Shah Rukh has grown up, have decided to break all ties with the showman.

Yash Chopra and son Aditya Chopra have fired two bullets at Shah Rukh Khan, yesterday they announced that Dhoom 2 would fight hand in hand at the Box Office against Shah Rukh’s Don, and today they have declared that Shah Rukh Khan will not star in any of their future productions. And replacing him will be… none other than… Abhishek Bachchan!

Aditya Chopra’s last two successes have been Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge and Mohabbatein, both starring Shah Rukh Khan. And many industry insiders were adamant that his next directorial would also star Shah Rukh. But, in a twist to the tale, Aditya has announced that Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherji would lead the cast for his next venture.

And not only that, the Chopras are currently in negotiations with the Deols, to work with them, for the first time after Darr. We all remember how Sunny Deol was upset at the Chopras for giving him the underhand role in Darr. A film that catapulted Shah Rukh to Bollywood stardom.

So it seems the days of Shah Rukh having it easy with big budget flicks is coming to an end, and soon he will have to work very hard to get the roles he so desperately wants.
