Five Bollywood Actors Of 2005!
The
first six months of 2005 have provided Bollywood fanatics
around the worlds with the usual dose of box office blockbusters
and acclaimed performances. Of course there are plenty
of commercial disasters and wooden performances too, but
Radio Sargam likes to remain positive! So which actors
have created the most impact so far this year? Here’s
our compiled list! Of course some of the major players
haven’t featured because either their films haven’t
hit the big screen or their impact wasn’t quite
big enough…

John Abraham
The Bollywood hunk! He starred in the box office disaster
Karam, but luckily things balanced in the right direction
thanks to the ‘above average to hit’ status
of Kaal and the well received family drama Viruddh.
4. Saif Ali Khan
Bollywood’s Dark Horse! He received critical acclaim
for his performance in Parineeta, which also performed
well at the box office. A recent National Award for Tum
Hum provides a new peak for his career, despite the fact
countless people were taken aback by the jury’s
decision! His next film, the Yash Raj romantic comedy
Salaam Namaste with Preity Zinta could help matters further…

Salman Khan
Bollywood’s most controversial superstar! Of course
Salman’s massive fanbase remain completely loyal,
which resulted in the above-average Lucky – No Time
For Love and a great opening for Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.
Not bad!

Abhishek Bachchan
The Rising Star! The ambitious youngster has silenced
his critics after delivering three hits: Bunty Aur Babli,
Sarkar and Dus. His performances are well-liked and certainly
show improvement from earlier films. He’s also got
rid off his two left feet! Rocking!

Amitabh Bachchan
The Bollywood Legend! Amitabh Bachchan remains a firm
favourite, despite some poor career decisions in terms
of films. Luckily things are looking fantastic right now
– Paheli, Waqt, Bunty Aur Babli and mind-blowing
pieces of work in Black, Sarkar and Viruddh – Amitabh
Bachchan has reached new peaks in his wonderful career.
