time for Sahara One Motion Pictures
Three movies under the camp have been nominated in different categories….
It’s awards time for Sahara One Motion Pictures as usually every
year the camp’s movies nominated by various awards ceremonies. This
time around, three critically acclaimed films of the year, ‘Page
3, Yahaan and Bose – The Forgotten Hero’ produced under the
mammoth banner of Sahara One Motion Pictures, have been nominated for
two of the most prestigious award ceremonies i.e. ‘Hero Honda Screen
Awards 2005 and 2nd Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Awards’.
These three films of Sahara One have received enormous recognition and
appreciation in their own respective genres.

‘Yahaan’
featuring Jimmy Shergill and Minissha Lamba in the leading roles has been
nominated for 11 categories in Hero Honda Screen Awards 2005 for Best
Music – Shantanu Moitra, Best Lyrics – Gulzar Saab for Naam
Aada Likhna, Best Story – Sabapati Mahesh, Best Screenplay –
Piyush Mishra, Somnath De, Shoojit Sircar and Sameer Kohli, Best Editing
– Shekhar, Best Sound – Ajay Kumar PB, Best Cinemotographer
– Jakob Ihre, Best Action Director – Shoojit Sircar, Best
Promising Newcomer Female – Minissha Lamba, Best Debut Director
– Shoojit Sircar and Best Film – Yahaan while Mr. Samir Chanda
and AR Rahman have been nominated for Best Art Dircetor and Best Background
Score respectively for Bose – The Forgotten Hero. Konkana Sen Sharma
has been nominated for the Best Actor Female category for Page 3.
Madhur’s highly acclaimed movie, ‘Page 3’ has also been
nominated for four categories in 2nd Apsara Film & Television Producers
Guild Awards, which includes Madhur Bhandarkar – Best Director,
Manoj Tyagi – Best Story, Konaka Sen Sharma – Best Supporting
Actress and Page 3 for Best Film.
