Analytical Eye:
A Sahara One Motion Pictures and Percept Picture Company’s venture, ‘Dor’ is a saga that revolves around love, loss, friendship, hope and redemption. The mammoth production house Sahara One Motion Pictures and Percept Picture Company have some hits and flops to their credits but the production abodes are still going on and on to chew up the projects to entertain their audiences.

Nagesh Kukunoor is the captain of this ship who has earlier fetched huge applauds not only from the critics and film fraternity but also from the audiences for his masterpiece ‘Iqbal’ that is the production of none other than the showman Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts. The intelligent director is once again geared up to allure his viewers with yet another creative enterprise ‘Dor’. Since Nagesh is now a name to trust on, hopes soar high that the flick will make a mark like the previous ‘Iqbal’.

‘Dor’ features the likes of very gorgeous dimpled face sexy gal Miss India turned actress Gul Panag, the beautiful Ayesha Takia and Shreyas Talpade in the lead.

The ravishing beauty queen with voluptuous curvy figure to hit men’s lust in full Gul Panag has worked very less in Hindi films. Till date, there is hardly any film where one can rate her skills lucrative. The gal can do better but wonder why the talents are being hidden. She has all to win the cinema but needs to polish up the skills. Let’s hope the actress will entice this time around.

Ayesha Takia, once a model now a worthy actress, is who carries beauty with brain. And she is the actress who knows her talents and has the grip over the art. The young gorgeous Takia fully utilizes the adroit skills she possesses and the result is vivid.

Shreyas Talpade now needs no introductory words since he has landed on Bollywood scene with gusto. The ‘Iqbal’ guy is swathed with the sparkling intelligence. Just wait how impressive he would be in this forthcoming outing of Nagesh Kukunoor?

Storyline:
The flick talks about two principle characters which are from different walks of life but get bound together following certain occurrences. Zeenat (Gul Panag) is an independent, self-assured, married young lady who lives in a remote Himachal Pradesh village. Meera (Ayesha Takia) resides in rural Rajashtan and hails from a conventional Rajput household. A life changing piece of news, which happens to be of common interest, reaches to both of these strangers and compels their life to be no longer same. Then the search begins to move on to get the life habitual and happy once again. There is a Bahuroopiya (Shreyas Talpade) who enters into the picture and perhaps helps unravel the mysteries leading into a powerful and unexpected ending. The questions jump in the mind that how far one can go to save her/his love fighting all odds and even destiny?
