Yash Chopra's Love Legend, Veer Zaara, has won the hearts of people all over the world. The figures are in, and the verdict is clear. The film is on its way to becoming one of the biggest hits of the year worldwide. The figures provided by Yashraj Films are quite stunning and unbelievable as well. Anyway, here goes Some Highlights... UNITED KINGDOM (UK) Veer Zaara recorded the Highest ever opening for a Hindi film in UK. Released at 60 sites in the UK, it collected £ 484,993 in its opening weekend, with a per site average of £ 8,083. It opened at number 4 in the UK Box Office, even though it faced competition from Big Hollywood films like Bridget Jones 2 and The Grudge. Veer Zaara had to face as many as 12 new releases in its first weekend in UK [Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason, Ladies In Lavender, Anacondas, Shaolin Soccer, Toolbox Murders, A Way Of Life, Reconstruction, The Hillside Strangler, Nobody Knows, Angel On The Right, Uncovered: The War On Iraq And Radio On]. Yet, despite stiff opposition, the collections of the film were astonishing. On
the second weekend, Veer Zaara remained strong at No. 6 in the UK box
office. In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 323,905
on 59 screens, with the per screen average of £ 5,490. In its third

In
the third weekend, Veer Zaara still had the highest per screen average
of all films on limited release (under 50 prints) and is yet rock-steady.
