EK RISHTAA

Starring: Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Juhi Chawla, Karishma Kapoor

PREDICTED RATING: 6/10

'Ek Rishtaa- The Bond of Love' is director Suneel Darshan's latest offering after his fairly successful film 'Jaanwar' which re-launched leading man Akshay Kumar's flagging career and projected him back into the big league.

This time the director has gone for a multi starrer with big names such as Amitabh Bachchan and Raakhee supporting the lead pair Akshay and Karishma and with Juhi Chawla in a side role.

The story is about a successful businessman, Vijay Kapoor, played by Amitabh, who lives with his wife (Raakhee) and three daughters. He also has a son, Ajay (Akshay Kumar) who is studying abroad for a master's degree.

A business graduate Rajesh Purohit (Mohnish Behl) is in awe of Vijay Kapoor and tries to model himself on him. Vijay too respects Rajesh's enthusiasm and welcomes him with open arms when he begins a relationship with his eldest daughter Priti, (Juhi Chawla).
