Many men around the world will envy Akshay Kumar thanks to this movie. The Bollywood actor stars alongside two Indian beauty queens, former Miss Universe Lara Dutta and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, both of whom are making their big screen debuts in this film. Everyone knows that beauty queens are magnetically drawn towards a career in Indian cinema, however will Lara and Priyanka join the successful ranks of Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen or will they face the same struggles as colleagues such as Yukta Mookhey and Diya Mirza? Andaaz will naturally play a part in deciding which way their careers turn!

The film is about two childhood friends, Raj (Akshay Kumar) and Kajol (Lara Dutta). Kajol has a passion for aircrafts and wants to fly away into the clouds with the man of her dreams. Luckily Raj trains to become an Air Force officer and returns home to win Kajol's heart. Unfortunately when he gets back he discovers that Kajol has already married another man. Unable to bare the pain, Raj moves to South Africa for further training and meets another girl, Jiya (Priyanka Chopra). She falls in love with our hero and tries to heal his broken heart, but then Raj is unexpectedly reunited with Kajol. Two girls, one bloke: Its not an equation that leads to happiness for all three people…so which girl will end up with Raj? Kajol or Jiya?

As well as the three lead stars hoping this movie will become a hit, director Raj Kanwar also has his fingers firmly crossed! His last movie Ab Ke Baras was a damp squib at the box office and the ones before that (Farz, Dhai Aksar Prem Ke, and Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega) weren't huge money makers either. Lets see whether the tide turns with Andaaz…
