Produced by Rohit Kumar (who tried his acting skills in the long forgotten Aazmaish) and directed by Vikram Bhatt (after the very successful Raaz and Ghulam), this story also has the melodious music of Rajesh Roshan, who surprise surprise also provided the music for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai.

Even though Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage had been launched before the successful release of the duos first film, the project was delayed to the huge success of the leading hero, Hrithik Roshan, but is now ready for a world wide release on 19th April 2002.

The film comes at a very critical time of Amisha's and Hrithik's careers respectively.

This is a story of Sapna, played by Amisha Patel, the over protected daughter of Dholakia, played by Kiran Kumar. It is only when she encounters Rohit played by Hrithik Roshan during the nine days of 'dandiya raas', that Sapna realises what a secluded life she has been leading.

Rohit is young, stubborn, sentimental and driven. He opens the doors to a life full of love, adventure and beauty. With her growth away from her seclusion, so does her love for Rohit.

However, in the tradition of so many Bollywood movies, Amisha's father opposes the relationship and the couple must fight to prove that they belong with each other.
