Bollywood director duo Abbas Mustan seem to always get their projects in the news. Their last effort 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke' became a controversial release following the allegations of underworld funding and arrest of Bharat Shah.

Now its time for the latest blockbuster 'Ajnabee' - once again much talked about project. Why? For starters the movie has an unconventional and delicate story. Then you have the constant bickering between the four main stars of the film - whether it is Kareena Kapoor bitching against Bipasha Bashu, or Bobby Deol not talking to Kareena Kapoor (anyone notice a pattern with Kareena here?).

Anyway, despite the setbacks, Ajnabee is set for a release around the 21st September 2001. It has been shot in exotic locations around Switzerland, Singapore and Mauritius. The story is about two couples - Raj (Bobby Deol) is married to Priya (Kareena Kapoor). Meanwhile Vikky (Akshay Kumar) is married to Sonia (Bipasha Bashu).

Both couples seem happily married and enjoy life to the fullest. However one night changes their lives forever. What happens? The perfect start to any thriller - a murder is committed! The rest of the film will have the audience guessing who, what, why and how.

To add more interest to the plot, rumours have been circulating for a while that 'Ajnabee' also dabbles in the area of wife swapping! Controversial to say the least, Kareena Kapoor was the first to try and kill down the shock, saying that the wife swapping part of the movie is dealt with so craftily that the audience will not even notice. We'll have to see about that one though!
