Bollywood’s latest romantic flick ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ stars Emraan Hashmi alongside newcomers Tanushree Datta and Sonu Sood. The story, which is set in a college campus, follows the usual formula for love triangles. Karan (Sonu Sood) is a shy and kind-hearted student. He shares a close friendship with Sneha (Tanushree Datta). In fact he’s secretly fallen in love with the pretty girl, but lacks the courage to admit his true feelings. Enter Vicky (Emraan Hashmi) who is Karan’s childhood buddy. Vicky is confident and full of life. He also falls in love with Sneha, but he doesn’t hesitate to express his feelings and they start a relationship, leaving Karan somewhat heartbroken.

However every love triangle needs a twist, and Aashiq Banaya Aapne is no exception. An unexpected event changes the situation, and suddenly Sneha is turning to Karan for support. Love makes you do the strangest things, as the three main characters are about to learn!

The soundtrack of ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ is already topping the music charts. Will this help the otherwise low-key movie gain some hype? We’ll find out when ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ releases on the big screen in September 2005.
