RATING:
*****
A
remarkable film and a change from the usual
love stories.
This
story is about a serial killer who works as
a postman and goes around raping and brutally
murdering innocent 'home alone' women.
At
one time, his path crosses with identical twins
and he brutally murders one. The other girl
is determined to catch him.
When
she discovers the serial killer, the girl reports
him and takes him to court, but he gets out
unscathed from law for want to proof. Now she
tracks him and obstructs his other kills. The
serial killer now becomes enraged and targets
her.
At
the same time, the girl plans to get her own
justice. And here in, you see the transformation
of an innocent girl into a weapon. That is what
Dushman is all about.
The
film is remarkable with above average cinematography.
Kajol plays her role with ease and Sanjay Dutt
is impressive. But who takes the cake is Ashutosh
Rana as the hateful vile man.
It
is the histrionics of these lead actors that
makes
Dushman
the film that it is. Surely worth a dekho.
