Enchanting and charismatic composition by Salim-Sulaiman and well written by Prasoon Joshi, Shukran Allah is an absolute soothing and pleasing track sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The song strikes the right chord in the first go.

High on energy and a blend of Sufi and rock music is what Dua Hai is all about. The song begins with English lyrics crooned by Marianne D’Cruz but later it’s Sukhwinder Singh along with Kailash Kher that steals the show. The rough patch continues with Ek Haqeeqat Tum Lagte Ho. The composition and the lyrics completely go in two opposite directions. Even singer like Javed Ali fails to create an impact with such a weak composition.

Up next is full of attitude track  Me Myself. The song with a rock feel but nothing new, fails to make an impression. Lyrics are utter disappointment and only good thing about the song is Kunal Ganawala’s rendition.

Tu Jaane Na sung by Atif Aslam is a sure shot winner. Amazing lyrics and great composition accompany totally with beautiful voice of the singer. Atif’s voice adds serenity to the song and is a sheer treat to the listeners.

Apart from the original version the song appears in four remixed versions. Firstly is the reprise version sung by Soham, Rana Mazumdar and Ashish Pandit. To follow is filmy version sung by Soham. The best of A.R. Rahman comes out with this track- Fiqrana. Remarkable composition by Rahman, great lyrics and sparkling singing by Vijay Prakash makes the song a winner. Beware the song is really infatuating.

Bhoola Tujhe- (Singer: Rashid Ali)

In mid of classic soothing and catchy numbers, comes Bhoola Tujhe, a slow and sad song. The song is really situational and not for the masses. The song fails to make an impression.

A song with a lot of attitude and spunk Blue Theme is a chic track. The song experiences lot of rap and metal embed with the track. Amazing lyrics, energetic singing and grand music makes the song rush adrenaline through your body. This one is a treat for Rahman fans and proves him to be the best composer in the country.

Rehnuma (Singers: Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal)

Rating: 6/10

Rehnuma is a temperate and squashy number. The song is special for its composition and refined singing by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The song requires a few hearing to get the true feel as well as mood of the song.

Yaar Mila Tha (Singers: Udit Narayan, Madhushree)

Rating: 6/10

Yaar Mila tha is a fun song. Well written by Abbas Tyrewala and potential singing by Udit Narayan along with Madhushree carries away the song. A completely different song from Rahman’s compilation which adds to the versatility of the album.

The album unfastens with Mann Ka Radio, a calm track. Himesh’s unique rendition and classic composition are the main grip of the song. Pleasing song with soft touch to it, decent song to start with.

The song also appears in a remix version with some extra beats and sure to hit the dance floors.

Zindagi Jaise Ek Radio (Singer: Himesh Reshammiya)

Rating: 5/10

Next in line is a foot thumping number Zindagi Jaise Ek Radio. Lyrics are mundane, singing ordinary as Himesh croons full throated. The only highlight of the track is its Punjabi beats that set the mood in.

Zindagi also comes in remix version, apart from the original number.

Rating: 7/10

Jaaneman is a soft, soothing and one of the finest romantic numbers in the recent past. Passionate lyrics by Subrat Sinha and tender singing by Shreya Ghoshal and Himesh Reshammiya emphasize the song. The track strike’s the soft corner of the heart and ends on a high note.

 Piya Jaise Ladoo Motichur Wale (Singers: Himesh Reshammiya, Rekha Bharadwaj)

Piya Jaise is a semi classical track with a difference. A soft romantic number with some elegant singing by Rekha Bharadwaj and diverse composition by Himesh Reshammiya. An out an out winner and probably the best track of the album.

The remix version of the song will soon rule the chart’s and set the dance floors on fire.

Koi Na Koi Chahe is yet another amorous track. Affectionate lyrics by Subrat Sinha, the song is full of emotions.

The album opens with Maula Maula, a song with a sufi touch to it. There is nothing new about the song and fails to make any impression. Raees Jamal Khan music is ordinary and Master Saleem fails to deliver.  The song also comes in a remix version.

Pyar  Ki Parsayee (Singers: Hariharan and Sadhna Sargam)

Next in line is a slow track Pyar  Ki Parsayee. The song is really soothing and Sadhna Sargam does a great job. On the other hand the composition and the lyrics are sleazy that leaves you disappointed.

The album unwinds with the ‘Fast Forward Mix’-Taali Bajao. A classic dance number with Indo-Western lyrics and loads of attitude, surely to hit the pubs.  However lyrics disappoint a bit, which easily gets subtle under the refined music.

Aakhon Ki Baat (Singers: Shaan, Pamela Jain)

Aakhon Ki Baat is a sweet romantic number. Elegant composition, effortless lyrics and some great singing by Shaan and Pamela Jain, the song has them all. The song leaves you with a cosy and snug feeling.

The song also appears in remix version sung by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Next in queue is Dil Mein Junoon. A well sung solo by Zubin with some great music arrangements. A track truely for youngsters.

The album unwinds with this polite romantic number Don’t Say Alvida. Beautifully composed by Sajid-Wajid with simple yet touching lyrics by Junaid Wasi. Sonu Nigaam’s vocals raise the bar of the song and takes you in the world of love and tenderness. The song also comes in two other versions- remix version and slow-n-sad version.

Happening (Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan)

The most happening song of the album Happening is a sure shot chartbuster. An outstanding qawali number, well composed with the modern musical arrangements and an exceptionally well written lyrics by Jalees Sherwani. To add on, the song is picturised on Bollywood’s sizzling lady Preity Zinta. Happening also comes in a remix version apart from the original track.

Next in line is a slow and heart-rending song Rabba. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s emotive vocal’s gives the track a serene feeling and adds divinity to the song. Sober yet classy lyrics by Jalees Sherwani glued with elegant composition by Sajid-Wajid.

Tum Ne Socha is a pleasing song with soft touch to it. A track with a gentle rock touch sees great variation from slow start to some pacy beats as it moves. Lyrics by Arun Bhairav are ordinary. It’s Shreya Ghoshal’s singing that makes the song special.

The prodigy continues with Mai Jitni Martaba-a romantic song with a difference. A splendid beginning with guitar masterpiece, lyrics completely youthful and sensuous singing by Yashita.

Carefree and encouraging lyrics are the main punch of the song. As the previous songs, guitar has been the base and goes perfectly with the track. And lastly not to forget the stunning vocals rendered by Alisha Chinoy.

In the mid of the foot tapping numbers comes Kyon a slow track and you would surely want to neglect this one. With ordinary composition and mundane lyrics, this song leaves with disappointment.

The song gives the feel of previous track ‘Bebo’. Nothing new about the song and Shridhar this time fails to create magic with this one. Some odd lyrics by Sameer and outdated music by the duo.

Rating: 4/10

The music duo tries to do something different and new with this one to give a more youthful feel but fails. Really disappointing track with just beats forcefully intervened in the song.
