Ramayan is set to return to television
India’s number one television serial Ramayan is all set to return to the screens in an all new avatar.
Shooting for the show has commenced at Sagar Film City in Baroda, Gujrat and will be telecast in a daily format. Gurmeet Choudhary will play Lord Ram, Debina Bonnerjee is Sita, Ankit Arora, Vije Bhatia and Lalit Negi will play Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughan respectively.
When previously aired, nearly 20 years back, the series managed to achieve record viewing figures and created a hysterical following.
