Shankar Mahdevanwas first noticed due to his singing capabilities but now, the singer cum composer is crossing quality barriers, by bettering his compositions with each film he (alongwith Ehsaan and Loy) composes for.

Says Shankar, ”Music director is like a mother, while singers are like children. I love to compose music.

I continue to sing in most of the films we compose for. Occasionally, I sing for many other reknowed names in the field.”
