Among cluster of stars, some stars shone bright with powerful roles and some with the simplicity of a seasoned craftsman. Unlike last year, 2007 belongs to the old horses of Bollywood who gave a brave show at the box office proving their critics wrong once again. There were one film wonders and stars which managed multiple hits at the box office. But overall, a year which belonged to Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar alike. From the super success of Om Shanti Om and Chak De! India, one is forced to take notice of the King Khan’s star power. Akshay Kumar manages to strike a hattrick with back-to-back hits. Sanjay Dutt continued to rule the hearts of the masses along with Salman Khan who made a super comeback in the top slot with Partner. Lastly, Abhishek Bachchan gave the performance of a lifetime in Guru, something I can’t stop raving about.
Other than these success stories, there were actors who were equally popular, less successful but worth a mention, namely, Amitabh Bachchan for Eklavya and Cheeni Kum; Shahid Kapoor for Jab We Met and Fool ‘n’ Final; and Saif Ali Khan for Ta Ra Rum Pum and Eklavya.

I disagree with u on 2 facts. Akshay was way better than SRK. SRK is undoubtly the King but others deserve a chance. I felt disgusted of OSO. It was entertaining but crappy. Akshays films were entertaining but not crappy and had a meaning. SRK was great but this year, give someone else a chance! Also Sanjay Dutt is great but his movies were not good enough to give him a postion on the top 10 actors. He was great in Dhamaal. But I would opt for Emraan Hashmi in Awarapan or the child artiste in Taare Zameen Par. Please consider my suggestions. This was a great list. Keep posting more Flashback 2007 lists. Thanx

Akshaye Khanna in Gandhi, my father is really stunning. He was even better than Abhishek in Guru and Shah Rukh in Chak De / OSO.

Well as far as top 5 actors..it should be akshay Kumar the 1st. I know SRK is the king but his movies are so crappy especially OSO. Abishek did way better acting than SRK in GURU. When comes to crying scenes..i give SRK credit for that. His good in crying..but as an actor I belive is Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Abishek Bachan and Sanjay Dutt are the best actor out there. SRK, is time for you to retire now.People like him because of the media..not his acting…if SRK is king so Aamir is the ACE!!!
This year is only 4 akshay he is the number 1 no doubt, he has 4 super hit in row including wellcome.
