Tanushree Dutta loses weight, and her inhibitions in this baat cheet with V Ananth

Isn’t it a bit too early in your career to opt for a dark, negative character in Raama The Saviour?
I’m pretty positive about playing negative.. ha ha! The film isn’t a romantic triangle, I play a pukka action-packed girl opposite a wrestler from Kuwait, Sahil Khan Talib, who’s being introduced in the film.

I trained in taekwondu for a fortnight. Peter Hanks, the action director for Yash Chopra’s Tashan is handling Raama The Saviour too.

How did you take the criticism that you had put on an ungainly amount of weight in Risk?
I take criticism in the right spirit. I resolved to get back into shape and I have.

Are you satisfied with your career graph?
I’ve always been optimistic. See, I made my debut in Chocolate just two years ago. My career may not have skyrocketed like that of some other actresses. I guess I belong to the slow and steady breed.
