Smriti Irani’s much talked about serial for Sony TV Viruddhm, is to be axed within weeks, a source has disclosed.

Talking to an Indian daily, the source has says, “Smriti wanted to pull it off this month but the channel heads asked her to continue since they did not have a show that could replace it.”

It is expected that Ratna Sinha’s show Aabha will replace Virrudh in that time slot.
