5. Govinda
When he made his entry into Bollywood movies, more than 20 years back, this young actor was touted as the next big thing. And, during the 90’s he was a force to be reckoned with. However, Govinda’s career suffered heavily due to his constant comedy flicks and the audience finally got bored.
But, not being one to retire quietly, our Chi Chi returned in 2007. Aided by close friend Salman Khan, Govinda managed to bag two big budget flicks (Salaam-E-Ishq and Partner). Although Salaam-E-Ishq didn’t do that well at the Box Office, Govinda’s scenes were appreciated. But it was not until the middle of the year and the mega success of Partner that really brought back this king of comedy.
Things are now looking up for Govinda as 2008 will see him headline many films as a sole star. All thanks to Sallu then!

shahrukh khan is the uncrowned baadshah of bollywood,boxoffice etc etc.no doubt akshay kumar has given hits this year,but he is not a complete actor,coz he cant do romantic roles or emotional role.he looks like a pig when is emoting.so my list for the year is 1.king khan. 2.akshay kumar 3.abishek bacchan 4.shahid kapur 5.salman n govinda for partner. and u tony dont be jealous of shahrukh khans success and watch out he is going to sweep all the awards this year.gand jal gayi hai toh paani daalo.

SRK on no. 2i can’t belive this. Akshay gave hit,but SRK gave blockbusters and Akshay gave same perfromances no versatilness in his acting,but King Khan played 3 characters in just 2 films. I think it’s absolutely biased!

so what if akshay gave 4 hits in a row? none of them were able to beat CDI or OSO in terms of collections (dont know about welcome though). This is the age where if you have hype and a wide release you will get an awesome initial. Its not tough for movies cross 50crs mark these days. In terms of collection SRK did give 4 outright hits in a row (DON, KANK, CDI and OSO). Akshay did have a awesome year no doubt, but I dont he was able to beat SRK!

tzp is the best movie of the year aamir khan and Drasheel were the best. all the other movies are mere time pass. tzp was something that stays with you and touches your heart and teaches everybody something.
in all fariness tzp should get the best film of the year award if it does not get it that prooves awards in India have no meaning and they are not genuinely earned like academy awards.

the king of bollywood at no 2 the man who gave 2007 the biggest blockbuters. i can’t belive it tony does not like srk at all srk perormance this year has been oustanding and and award wining it is interesting how askay did not win the best actor award in the public vote which proves what people think of akshay kumar and his acting, dream on tony. also I am sure srk will be back with least 1 film next year and it will be a block buster. This year has proved that people can not get enough of srk and they want more of him and the directors and critics now that. This what you call srk’s star power.

15 years since 15 years aamir khan and co. is trying to dethrone shahrukh from being the king but still unsuccessful.
when shahrukh entered the film industry in 1992 no one expected him to become the legend he is today. aamir khan, salman khan, anil kapoor, sanjay dutt,ajay devgan and a host of other actors celebrated that bachchan has decided to quit bollywood after khuda gawah and they can rule BW,but they didnt expect that a TV actor wud dominate them soo much that they would have to be forced to change their profession. A volcano of talent , an actor like never before entered Indian cinema with deewana, his raw energy took the entire nation by storm his hair style became a rage, his films raju ban gaya gentleman, Deewana were quite good hits but these aamir khan, salman khan etc didnt care much about him, they thought what can i TV actor do to us, then came baazigar n darr which proved shahrukh is better than all the actors combined of this generation but still aamir, salman and etc fans relaxed that shahrukh’s craze wont last for longer but then came Dilwale dulhania le jayenge and he swept the nation with his performance ,charm and dignity. then these mangal n nangu khans realised the star shahrukh khan had becum and then they started to try to overcome him but it just got too late and from 1995 till 2006, being senior to shahrukh by almost 6 years, they are still struggling to bring him down in vain.
Now thats shahrukh khan the actor, the Super star, the Legend for u!
shahrukh gave hope to soo many actors that even an actor who has no god father can make it in BW and become a super star,just he has to be an exceptional actor , a dream he gave to soo many aspirants is just tremendous!!
all these aamir khans, salman Khans, anil kapoors, sanjay dutts, Kumar gauravs had ruined BW creating a myth that only star sons can make it in Bollywood but shahrukh khan was the only actor who rose from the ashes and became the Emperor.
When a new comer from outside enters Bollywood he doent want to be like aamir khan, salman khan or etc etc , he wants to rule indian cinema like bachchan or shahrukh who made it on their own and not like the pther over hyped and rated stars!!
