The Chopras and the Johars cannot stop themselves from casting Rani Mukherjee but the factually, 2007 turned out to be a big dissapointment for the Khandala girl.
Rani Mukherjee appeared in three big releases this year – Ta Ra Rum Pum, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Saawariya.
Though Ta Ra Rum Pum stabilised after a poor start, Laaga Laaga Chunari Mein Daag sinked without a trace. She stood out with her performance in Saawariya, but could not save the ship from sinking.

well, a film fails not because of the poor performance of the actor/actress but due to poor script, the story line and pave of the movie itself…Among ALL Rani’s film this yr, she has given her best… Alvida
Rani excel yet even as her films did not make it.
