EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Director Nagesh Kukunoor’s association with Subhash Ghai gave us a simple and inspiring film in Iqbal. And now, the duo have extended their association with Bombay to Bangkok where Kukunoor’s favourite Shreyas Talpade is presented in a completely new set up.
Shankar (Shreyas Talpade), is a small time thief who gets away with the money stolen from a local don. He manages to escape by heading to Bangkok with a team of doctors who are going there for relief support.
Amidst the hustle and bustle, Shankar loses all his money. Moreover, he meets a Thai beauty Jasmine (Lina Christianson). The problem lies in the fact that he can’t communicate with her, thanks to the language barrier. One day, Shankar makes his way into Jasmine’s heart by pretending himself to be a doctor and helping her ease her sickness.
Life has just started to play its weird game with Shankar in the fist of money and love. Adding to the wit, Jasmine too joins his ride from Bombay to Bangkok.
