Film maker Rituparno Ghosh is now going to write lyrics for Deepa Mehta for her period film titled Kamagata Maru.
The film stars none other than superstar Amitabh Bachchan. And the lyrics will be written in Bihari language.
Exerts Deepa, “I think Rituparno is a wonderful humanbeing and an astonishing filmmaker. But when I heard his songs in the Brij Bhasha sung by Shubha Mudgal for Raincoat which he had written I knew I had found my lyricist for Kamagata Maru. The song will be filmed on a homesick nostalgia-driven Bihari traveling far away from home.”
