Legendary singer Asha Bhonsle was enraged by Himesh Reshammiya’s recent comments on many of the Bollywood biggies. Reportedly, Himesh asked as to why no one ever accused musical personalities like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, R.D.Burman or Mukesh of singing through their nose. The comment came after accusations of Himesh singing through his nose for his blockbuster hits.
An infuriated Asha Bhonsle wished to slap Himesh for his comment. “Whoever says Burman saab sang through his nose should be slapped,” said Asha Bhonsle.
Himesh soon realised his mistake and apologised saying that he never wanted to insult the Great musician R.D. Burman. Now, that should be a lesson for Himesh baba and remind him to “think before you speak”. Right ?
