Former Bollywood diva Sridevi will set the Box Office on fire next year, her husband Boney Kapoor has confirmed.
The producer is penning his wife’s return to movies as she is now comfortable with the idea of returning to films, something she gave up nearly 11 years ago.
Boney confirmed, saying, “Sridevi’s comeback is certainly on the cards. I’d be foolish not to utilise the talents of one of our best and most beautiful actresses when she’s right here at home. We are looking at a couple of scripts very seriously. The film for Sridevi should be happening next year.”
What are your thoughts on this comeback? Do you feel that the time is now right for Sridevi to return to acting? Will she be able to make money at the Box Office or will it be a dud? And what kind of role should she play? A role of a mature woman with children or something on the lines of what Madhuri played in her comeback flick, Aaja Nachle. Yes Sridevi has and will always be my most favourite attress. I have never admired any talent in any of our other female actors as much as I did hers. However, considering the young trend thats on now she should come back with something that suits her age and not try and play a college girl or someone that runs from one country to another singing songs. Would like to see her in something in lines with a Lamhe. She can carry such roles to the tee.

Yes,yes & yes she should come back!No one including Madhuri Dixit can carry a movie on her shoulders like Sridevi.The success of the movie will depend on what it is all about.Now that Aaja Nachle has failed at the box office, it is quiete evident that something totally unique has to be done considering their age.Would love to see her with Aamir Khan,maybe a mature but really intense love story with lots of drama,a role that will bring out the best of her.I’ve seen her clothes at functions she’s been attending and hope her wardrobe is along those lines.Boney,please do all you can so your wife gets a response that she’s hoping for and more so that she will be encouaraged to work on more projects after this comeback movie!

Sridevi is the only complete actress of Bollywood. Everybody keeps going on about Madhuri Dixit but Sridevi is beautiful, dignified, and a fabulous actress. She has always changed the dynamics of every one of her films so that she is central and in real life she is sophisticated. I cannot wait for her comeback, she truly is an icon, even an empress one may say.
