Television’s simple Saloni is to go all sexy in the coming weeks.
The character of Saloni Singh in Zee TV’s high-rated serial Saath Phere Saloni Ka Safar is to undergo an image change and will be seen wearing mini-skirts, see-through shirts and plaitedhair. Previous to this, Saloni was a simple ‘bahu’. The transformation in Saloni’s image comes as the character has suffered memory loss and her mental age is now of a five-year old.
Rajshree Thakur, who plays the character, says of the change, “It is the creative team’s decision to change the track of the show. In the story, I have lost my memory and become like a five-year-old child. I am excited about this and consider myself lucky to get variations in one character itself. I have been spending a lot of time with my niece and nephews and observing them too.”
