EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Ever watched a Bollywood thriller where strangers meet and decide to assassinate each other’s respective wife? Strangers stands out in this aspect. It’s not churned out of the regular lot.
The film is produced by Uday Tiwari and being directed by Anand L. Rai. The star cast includes Jimmy Shergill, Kay Kay Menon and Nandana Sen. Sonali Kulkarni is seen in a special appearance.
During an overnight journey from Southampton to London, two strangers meet each other and converse with each other. In the process, they come to a mutual conclusion that the only way to come out of their painful life is to get rid of their soul mates. Eventually, they decide that the two of them would kill other’s wife.
Rai is leading a life filled with miseries and sorrows. His son’s untimely death had lead his wife Nandini to a state of madness.
On the other side, there is Rahul who is in complete awe of his wife Preity. Likewise, Rahul is not respected by his wife Preity after the undue crash of his ambitious career. They still live together but lead the life of strangers.
Now, the stories are haunted by the fear of death and shock. Will the two honest men manage to keep up to the stranger’s promise is something to watch out for.
