The latest rumours doing the rounds in Bollywood is that Munna’s girl is upset with Mani Ratnam. Vidya Balan was reportedly upset over the length of her role in Mani Ratnam’s Guru. In the film, Abhishek and Aishwarya play the main lead, while Vidya plays the role of a handicapped women who is married to a wheel-chair bound man played by Madhavan.
Denying the rumours Vidya says, “I can’t even begin to imagine where these rumours started. Do these people realize what getting a Mani Ratnam film means to someone, who started her career barely two years ago? I got in ‘Guru’ with my eyes wide open and I’m very happy being part of it. According to me, there are no first lead and second lead in a Mani Ratnam film. Every one is a character, period,”
But rumours spiced up after her absence from the music release of Guru. But the actress defends herself by saying, “That was a totally unavoidable circumstance. When I was told the event was on November 5, I informed then immediately that it would be impossible for me to be there. I had already committed myself to a very important family function outside Mumbai,”
Now who’s complaining. The main leads for the movie were present for the music release ceremony. Right guys?
