Dus Kahaniyaan has always been an exciting venture ever since its production was announced. The idea of bringing in 10 different stories in one single film with the inclusion of 22 stars makes the film even more exciting.
The film has shaped out well as a collection of ten different stories, bringing a needed break from the stereotypical flicks produced in Bollywood.
Kahaani # 1: Rice Plate Starring: Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah
The confrontation of a Hindu woman and a Muslim man over a plate of rise is depicted in this story. Here Naseeruddin will be seen playing the Muslim man and Shabana Azmi, a Hindu woman.
Easily the best story of the movie. Brilliant performance delivered by Shabana Azmi, who stands out as a Tamil woman. Naseeruddin too has his share of cake in this short story.
Kahaani # 2: Sex on the Beach Starring: Dino Morea, Tareena Patel
Hunk Dino Morea finds a shabby book on the beach. The next thing that happens changes the world of Dino in the sense that the character of the book takes the physical self of a gorgeous woman. Dino makes the most of the opportunity only to pay a shocking price for his entertainment.
Adequate performances and average direction makes ‘Sex On The Beach’ an average affair to watch out for.
Kahaani # 3: Love Dale Starring: Anupam Kher, Aftab Shivdasani, Neha Oberoi
A meeting with a woman who wore only one earring changes the course of Neha’s life. The bizarre incident acts like an upper hand of destiny and changes the complete life of Neha.
Again mediocre performances by Aftab and Neha makes ‘Love Dale’ an average watch despite contiguous efforts to make the storyline convincing.
