Rekha and Shabana Azmi were last seen in Raaste Pyar Ke, which released 30 years ago.

And now, ambitious director Raj Kanwar is planning to cast the two of the best Indian cinema actress in his forthcoming venture titled Sadiyaan.

Says Raj Kanwar, “Sadiyaan which means centuries, would be an entirely new territory for me. Yes I do want to cast Rekha and Shabanaji together. Work is on for the screenplay. Song recordings have also started. I hope to get the project in place in a few weeks.”
