It seems the cold war between Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan is still ongoing, as the latter refused to attend an AIDS last week.
Amitabh was invited by Smita Thakeray for the Mukti Foundation function, and all was going well. Big B was busy shooting for Aladdin but made sure the shoot finished by 5. Says a source, “Bachchan wound up his shooting much before the event started. Mr. Bachchan left the sets by 5 pm. Maybe Bachchan felt that SRK would get all the attention at the event. Given that, it would be somewhat demeaning for an actor of Big B’s stature to play second fiddle.”
Instead a recorded message of Amitabh Bachchan was displayed on-screen explaining why the legend was absent.
What are your thoughts on this… do you feel that this cold war will ever end or not? Is Amitabh Bachchan right to worry about the threat from Shah Rukh Khan or is he just making a mountain out of a molehill? Should the two mega stars attend events, charity events, atleast… together? I think this cold war thing s media created and they want to increase the sale of their magazine or to get the cheap attention.
Besides that you need to understand that Big B is far far superior than SRK.
Yes there is definitely a cold war btw Amitabh and Shahrukh. Amitabh may have been a big star in his time but he has to realise that times have changed and Shahrukh is a biggest star of today.
Cold war exists because Big B has a problem with accepting this bitter fact. Amitabh needs to realise that he no longer has the age and star power to compete with Shahrukh.

SRk far superior then BIG B, BIG B need to realise that its time for him to chill and enjoy this generation super mega star (SRK). SRK is the Baadsha of Bollywood has proved in every freakin way.

Big B is an iconic figure and a living legend in modern India’s history. SRK is a mafia promoted star. There is no comparison.
Amitabh was a superstar and will always be one most of us know this is all media crap in a recent function they both were on stage and mahesh bhatt called both of them together on stage and amitabh kissed srk’s forehead and said he always considered srk like his older son i think fans of srk want to believe that amitabh has issues with big b when thet both came to toronto for filmfestival i was there and saw both talking and laughing we all fall for this so easily its all publicity

I think that Big B will always rock the bollywood history and srk khan is a hero but he can’t make so many movies like big b in his life plus look how much different there are i life …. Well whatever there are a lot gossip in the country so who knows whats real and what wronge…….
I think King Khan is far far superior than Big B now. though Big B is also very good actor but shahrukh is what a superstar is supposed to be. SRk rocks n will rock. Srk can outshine any hero in his prsence amitji,sunny,salman etc
well am sure Srk cant have with any one as he so polite genttel and good person. . . I cant say same about smal b. . . Maby he made more movies than king khan,i think more matter the how good the movies are ,king khan most movies are block basters but small b movies most of them are flop . . . I agry that he is good actor but not to good to be compared to king khan. . . And i think srk cant lie to his fans if he says the is no war between them i would like to believe that . . . I agree with everyone who think Big B is far more superior. SRK may be good, but admit it guys! AB is way better! HE always has been great, and always will. There’s no comparison.
Look at the roles they play in movies. Yes, I agree that SRK has done some great movies, like “Veer Zaara” and I can’t think of any more.
Amitabh Bachhan has done way better roles and been in hit movies, which will never be forgotten such as “Deewar, Zanjeer, Kaala Patthar, Don, and defintely Black”.
He is arguably the most popular living Indian. He is known as the ‘One man industry’, ‘Superstar’, ‘Angry Young Man’, ‘Emperor’, ‘Big B’ and even ‘God’, while SRK is only known as King Khan.
My aunt has personally seen Shah Rukh Khan as a person and taken a pic. with him, and trust me, he looks OLD! He is nothing compared to Big B.
All those people out there who are saying that Big B can’t accept the fact that SRK is today’s star and WRONG! They are going on looks, not acting!
