Acclaimed Bollywood actress Tabu could be playing the role of controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen, if UTV can persuade her.
The power-house studio wants to quickly make a movie about the writer who has penned books such as Lajja and Dwikhandita. A source close to UTV says, “UTV thinks that Tabu will suit the role very well. The film will go on the floors next year. It will be a biopic.”
A love angle will be added to the story to spice it up a little.
