TV actress Smriti Z Irani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Ti has started working for Teen Bahuraniyaan.
The former Star TV actress has joined the cast of the Zee TV serial and will be playing the role of Vrinda Mausi, a woman who saves the life of Janki from her in-laws.
Smriti herself has confirmed this story, “Yes, I am doing Teen Bahuraniyaan and am playing a positive character in the show. People thought I would not be doing any show outside my production house. I have worked with the writer of the show besides Hemalji (Hemal Thakkar, producer) and when the channel told me about the role I was impressed. Besides, the team has put together good shows in the past. The channel will be able to elaborate on my role. And just watch out for my look in the show!”
When asked why she chose a show that she is not producing herself, she responded “Even as offers were coming my way, I was exploring the possibility of acting in a serial outside my own production house. Together with the channel I’m working on various projects.”
Smriti’s first scenes will be broadcasted in a week’s time in India.
