Club Privada a unique timeshare scheme that allows one to enjoy luxury yachts has been launched in Mumbai, India. Club Privada aims to bring the facility of luxury sailing to those who enjoy the boating lifestyle, at a fraction of the cost and without the hassles of actual yacht ownership.
Club Privada was launched over a sumptious Sunday Brunch hosted by the promoters Jagdish & Karan Valecha, Rajesh Advani and Ramesh Bulchandani at the Ballroom of Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai on 2 December 2007.
Filmactor Ritesh Deshmukh was the first guests to arrive and was specially taken to the yacht Azimut 50. Ritesh was heard sayng he loves the sea and enjoys the leisures of yachting off Mumbai’s harbour.
Other guests present at this rocking brunch do were Bhushan Gagrani, MD, MTDC; Bobby Deol, Alistair Woodham, Sharmilla & Sandeep khanna, Jytoi Gwalani & Aparna Badlani of “Zoya”, Lali Dhawan, Samrat & Shalini Zaveri, Radhika & Anshuman Ruia, Neil Raheja, Ravi & Sumati Raheja, Puru Raj Kumar (who also went off to visit the yachts), Poonam & Kriti Soni, Asif Adil, Mr & Mrs Raj Shroff, Asha Patel, Bhaktawar Chinoy, Gayatri Joshi & Vicky Oberoi, Jackie Shroff, Dr bindu Sthalekar, nikhil Chaturvedi and Bijal Meswani. Also present were Sujay Chohan and Malav Shroff, organisers and presents of the Mumbai International Boat Show.
While several guests made a beeline for the Appointments desk to book their trip to the Yachts, many were seen enjoying the live band “Acid Curry”s performance while others headed off to savour the lavish brunch comprising waffles, eggs, rissotto, Lebaese food, pastas and desserts. A special kids buffet on low tables was also set up which kids loved tremendously.!! Many guests were seen enjying the view the harbour from the large bay windows of the Ballroom.
The gracious hosts Jagdish Valecha Rajesh Advani and Ramesh Bulchandani made sure that everyone was in high spirits and ensured that a good time was had by all!!
