Witty-ditty Kajol really did goof it up over the weekend when her ignorance was heard and seen by all.
The actress was at a fund raising event for AIDS, and when asked about what message she wanted to give to the poeple on World AIDS day, she replied “It’s just a little more worrisome than a common cold and it’s curable, so just go out there and get it done.”
Her sister Tanisha and good friend Karan Johar tried to rectify the situations, with Karan saying “Many of us, even those who belong to the affluent section of society, are absolutely ignorant about such a serious issue. That’s what needs to be changed. We need to spread awareness. AIDS has no cure, but it can be prevented.”
It’s not common for our Kajol to make a gaffe like this on such an important occasion… what is up Kajol?
i think too much meaning was read into what she meant a harmless comment. let her be and stop looking for what to write
we love her and we are ready to over look her flaws besides we are all human and make mistakes sometimes.
Well I like her too but saying its more than JUST a common cold….I mean how ignorant can you get!!! Tell that to he person who has aids!!!
everybody can make mistakes, i’m agree with amina. And we can’t juge an actress with this but with what she is an ACTRESS, so kajol we love you!!
