Bollywood actor-turned-TV producer Aruna Irani is content with trying various different storylines when it comes to choosing subjects for her TV serials.

Says Aruna, ”I believe that notwithstanding a lot of so called ‘hatke’ shows on television today, it is only shows with the tried and tested themes that manage to rake in the TRPs.

Viewers only like to watch saas-bahu serials but they also look forward to some innovative subjects.”
