The list of special appearances in Mera Bharat Mahaan are stretching out till Timbuktu with rumour mills churning out a new name… Hrithik Roshan.

It seems that director Sammer Karnik has managed to rope in Duggu for a very special guest appearance, after a lot of running after. And not only that, but if rumours are to be believed, then Hrithik Roshan will play Salman Khan’s son.

A source from the production team has said, “Although Salman and Hrithik will not be seen together on screen, Hrithik will be playing Salman’s son in Mera Bharat Mahaan. Salman has a guest appearance in the film. Samir was initially hesitant about approaching Hrithik as he wasn’t too sure if Hrithik would say yes. But when Hrithik agreed Samir’s joy knew no bounds. The director was visibly excited over Hrithik being part of the project.”

Hrithik Roshan’s secretary Ashok Vasodia has also commented on this story, saying “Yes there are talks on between Samir Karnik and Hrithik Roshan. But it is too early to say anything.”
