Chandan Arora has roped in Rang De Basanti star Siddarth for the title role in his forthcoming flick Striker.
Arora has earlier worked with Rajpal Yadav in films like Main Madhuri Dikshit Banna Chahti Hoon and Main Meri Patni Aur Woh. So what made the director overlook his companion.
Says Arora, “Rajpal and I share a tuning that goes beyond one film. If I had my way I’d feature him in all my films. But after Main Madhuri and Main Meri Patni AurWoh didn’t work out, coming together for a third film would have made both of us look like losers drifting together. Rajpal has proved himself as an actor. I need to get my credibility -level high.”
