After the super-duper success of Phir Hera Pheri, producer Firoz A Nadiadwala has completed the shoot of his next, a light romantic comedy titled Welcome.
The film is a multi-starrer and sees veteran actor Feroz Khan in an all out comedy roll. In the film he is paired with Nana Patekar and the combination of the two is expected to cause immense laughs among theatre-goers.
The film is directed by top director Anees Bazmee and also stars Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Mallika Sherawat and Paresh Rawal.
Bazmee says, “Welcome is a light romantic comedy. We have completed the shooting of the film in a major schedule in Dubai. We had small stint in Mumbai too. Call it a coincidence of sorts, it was a privilege to direct Feroz Khan and Nana Patekar.”
Commenting on the success of Phir Hera Pheri, Nadaidwala says, “This film is bigger than Phir Hera Pheri and is budgeted around Rs 150 million (Rs 15 crores). Having completed the shooting, in a couple of days we will be going ahead with the post-production work and planning for an early release.”
