Jaan-E-Mann director to produce next film
Published by  Webmaster  at 02:20:27 am on November 18, 2006

Debut director Shirish Kundar, whose first release Jaan-E-Mann has proved to be popular, will not be directing his next film. Instead he will produce.

The Salman Khan starrer Jaan-E-Mann, which also starred Preity Zinta and Akshay Kumar, was not only directed by Shirish but he also wrote the story, screenplay, dialogues and even edited it. And to top it all, he did the background music score also.

But for his next film, Shirish will be producing only. “Yes I plan to produce my next film. I am in the process of finalizing things. I will be out of the country for a few days and after I return everything should be clearer,” he says.

It has also been reported that Suniel Shetty has approached Shirish to direct a film for his production house, on this Shirish says “Yes. I did receive an offer from him. In fact I received a lot of offers. Right now I am trying to make up my mind as to who to go ahead with. I have to choose one and that makes it difficult because I will be upsetting the others.”

“I can’t reveal anything about the film now. But by this month end I should be in a position to give you concrete details,” says Shirish.

Who do you think Shirish should use for his next film? Should he use Salman and Akshay again, or she should he adventurous and go for Shah Rukh Khan?

  7. I think that Shirish should cast for his next film either Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan or Saif Ali Khan as heroes and either Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif or Kangana Ranaut as heroines.
