On Friday, the news came as a revenge for the media, when the Mumbai Police arrested the three bodyguards of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. The bouncers have been involved in some or the controversy ever since the crew for the movie A mighty heart landed in India. The bodyguards were arrested under the IPC’s section 306, regarding their rough handling of students and their parents at Anjuman-E-Islam school in South Mumbai and even racially abusing some of them.
On Thursday, the angered parents and students reported the incident to the police personnels who had reached the spot. There was agitation and anger among the people over anti-Islam and anti-Indian remarks made by Angelina’s bodyguards, while they roughed up some of the students, even slapping two students in the school premises. The school’s routine was hindered by the film’s shooting, as the students were confined in their classrooms for over 3 hours, until the film’s shooting suspended for the day.
Earlier, one of the bodyguards Mike had man-handled a reporter who had tried to take a snap of Angelina-Brad at their hotel. After earning infamous publicity in India, the remarks of “Bloody Indian” have surely dished out the right treatment for the “bloody bouncers”. Now, Angelina should apologise on behalf of the entire crew, for the irresponsible behaviour shown in our land.
What do you say. Should she apologise? What punishment should be given to her bodyguards?
