Today news has come that popular Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has decided not to work with Anurag Basu. The reasons for which are unclear as of now.
However, our sources say that Hrithik Roshan decided to kindly walk away from Anurag Basu after his father had a look at the script and didn’t like it. Since it was the first time Hrithik was to work with Basu, Papa Roshan wanted something meaty and substantial, which would allow Hrithik to display his skills as a performer.
A source from the Roshan camp reveals, “There was speculation that Hrithik was to work with Anurag for the Metro sequel. But wasn’t true. Basu wasn’t planning on getting Hrithik for the sequel. He planned a totally new film with him. But things didn’t work.”
Basu refused to divulge the exact reason why the film was scrapped but confirmed the development over a SMS, “The Hrithik film is not happening.”
