It is now official, Shah Rukh Khan has done in 10 days what no one has done for weeks on end… Om Shanti Om is the biggest Indian movie of 2007 in the United Kingdom.
The total collections for Om Shanti Om in the UK now stand at a massive £972,146 (US $1,992,118 – INR 78,150,946). Which means that this Shah Rukh Khan blockbuster is the number one Bollywood movie in the UK this year. It has overtaken the Akshay Kumar comedy flick Namastey London within 10 days of release. Namastey London’s total collections ended at £843,487 (US $1,728,616 – INR 67,813,605).
This past weekend it once again shone at the Box Office, totalling the 3 day collections at £250,120, therefore keeping it’s place in the UK Top 10 chart. The Farah Khan directed spoof flick only dropped one place, from seven to eight.That is not all… but it’s total collections have nor surpassed the Tom Cruise starrer Lions For Lambs… another awesome fete.
Om Shanti Om looks set to make even more moolah in days to come…

Tony,what happened to akshay taking King Khans throne in the overseas?What goes up must come down(to the all other stars)But srk will always be at the top! would lke to know now who they will compete SRK with??
Itni shidath se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai..ke har ek zarre ne tumse milane ki koshish ki hai..wah! wat a movie man, om shanti om was indeed an excellent movie.. jiyo jiyo Farah khan aur hume aise hi filme dekha thi raho,jisme ho itna khubsurat talented nojawa,hum jise kehte hai,king khan!! wah wah wah wat an amazin film. But i got 1 question,wat hapened 2 JAB WE MET? That was also a cool film,y didnt it make it 2 the top ten? very very suprisin.
Shahrukh khan is the Best!!. No one can beat him or even dream of beating him!!. Sanjay leela bhansali should have his lessons learned!…. king khan se panga math lena mere dost!.
Kyun ki duniyan mein Kingkhan ka jaadu abhi baaki hai mere dost!!!

srk has got d fame n superstardom earlier dan odr actors…………he was no1 for lomg…but now akshay kumar is at par, if not better dan srk……ladies n gentlemen get ready to watch him in action in forthcoming WELCOME…..!!!!!!!
kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye haarna padta hai….aur haarkar jeetne wale ko “baazigar” kehte hain…..
lekin jo hameshaa jeet ta chala aata hai use hum “khiladi” kehte hain…..srk may have a bigger fan following but akshay has surpassed him or in d worst case equalled him in terms of superstardom….and dats evident from d latest n consistent hits he has been delivering…..
just watch akshay beating srk in coming yrs.Hey man akshay has everything action,comedy,romance,thrill.He can make you laugh but cry at the same time.He has a great sense of timing and is a hardworking guy.He has come a long way and done everything te be on the position where he is.He deserve it.
