Yesteryear’s actor Manoj Kumar felt humiliated about a scene in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om. The recreated ’70s scene in the film shows a young Manoj Kumar being beaten by police constables outside a theatre when he lands there for a premiere.
Later Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan offered apology to the senior actor and offered to remove the scene from the film.
Says Shah Rukh, “I and Farah have apologised to Manoj-ji over phone and we will go to meet him personally as well.”
Commenting on the issue Farah said, He was very sweet and said there was no need to apologise, ‘you are like my children’. We even offered to remove the scene from the film if it hurt him so much, but he said there was no need at all for that. The issue is all said and donw with.”
