Saawariya makes 14 million bucks in India
Published by  Webmaster  at 08:21:32 pm on November 11, 2007

Sony Pictures are reporting the first weekend Box Office takings of Saawariya in India, and the results seem to be very good.

According to them, and this has yet to be confirmed by the proper authorities, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film has opened to a whopping $14,250,000, which classifies it as a super hit.

If these reports are geniune, then Sony Pictures will be happy as larry because they spent $20,000,000 on the budget of Saawariya, and within it’s first week it will make a profit.

  7. Sony is a professional and transparent organisation and not like SRk who indulges in black money , with no transparency in his accounts and income >>

  9. 14,250,000 dollors means 57 crores in just 3 days(week end) the biggest opening movie in india for the first week is dhoom2 which took 34 crores in a week(not in 3 days).so sony pictures is lying coz d film(saawariya) has already flopped in india.
