It’s just not India and UK audience that is loving Om Shanti Om, USA film-lovers have gone bonkers over it too.

The film has grossed $1,500,000 so far this weekend and has the third highest per screen average, $13,157. The film is being shown in a mega 114 screens country-wide. This is by far the best ever opening for a Shah Rukh Khan film in the United States.

If the film keeps this up then it might also achieve the best ever opening slot for a Bollywood film in USA, currently it stands at number 14.
