Amitabh Bachchan and his family of actors(?) are willing to raise Sanjay Leela Bhansali from the ‘blue’ ashes of Saawariya. Sanjay wants to quickly forget this whole disatrous episode and start working on his next flick… Bajirao Mastani. The film that was supposed to star Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan. Now the movie will star Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, with a pivotal role being given to Amitabh Bachchan.

There is nothing wrong with Sawariya. It is a very nice pretty love story. People just think great of OSO because of its luxuios setting. It is tiring to see SRK do the same old acting with no variasion to it. As for Farhan she should have married SRK. The amount of time they spend togeother I wonder who SRK’s wife is?????????
Sure they should act in Mastani but isn’t one role already for Rekha in the same movie. Imagine Amitabh and Rekha once again in the same movie. Besides Aishwarya they should take Kareena for the other role of mistress.
There is nothing wrong with Saawariya!It’s a fine movie-there is a lot to take in. I don’t think the indian masses are ready for a film like Saawariya yet. There are alot of elements out there that are trying to sabotage SLB & his film. I think the writer of this article is one such person. What a tacky piece of journalism, how can the writer know for sure that know one is going to talk to SLB anymore.
Who cares if no one watches saawariya, at least SLB has kept his artistic integrity & not lowered his standards.
I have read so many reviews on Saawariya before watching the film & it seems that very few critics truely understand the film. They dont understand it is about firt love & unrequited love. They say they don’t understand why Salman is in the film, his role is so short, DUH, the story of saawariya is adapted from a russian short story – the same character (although not muslim) is in the book for a short time also but no one criticised the book for it!
Everyone is praising Ranbir, the nude shots of him are exquisite, and Rani’s role. however no one is prasing Salman & Sonam’s role. Why i’ll tell you why because they play Muslim characters in teh film! Yes, I have read so many reviewers say Sonam is not very good in teh movie, however I disagree- her urdu is perfect, she looks good & shows she can dance.
The film also has an islamic setting. This is why it is bieng panned.

I absolutely agree with SALMA’s reviews, my feelings are same for Bachans, what is this seeing SHAH RUKH KHAN just walke out of the event? By doing this he himself showed who grudge who? ANOTHER DIWALI ANOTHER DISASTER
You can’t go down with one movie. Sanjay is a great director, and like the article says, you just can not go down and have ppl hate you for the movie not doing so well. The thing is, Shahrukh has more fans, and OSO was a go-lucky-hilarious movie with full of jokes and lots of stars and it was really colourful whereas Saawariya, which i’m sur the story was beautiful and the sets were prbably gorgeous as well, but the ending is sad – as in the ppl who the audience wants to get together doesn’t – if i’m not mistaken, and therefore solely for entertainment, that is to forget their own problems in life, people, the general public would rather see a go lucky film like OSO than a sad ending film – especially during Diwali, which is a festival just for happiness and lights.
Now with the Bachchans putting their nose into making a movie with Sanjay, just sounds like they(Bachchans) want to beat Shahrukh with Sanjay, although this is probably not true, you never know in this industry. With the whole so called ‘war’ between Shahrukh and Amitabh, apparently caused by Amitabh’s polition-friend, it just seems like Amitabh is trying to get back at Shahrukh and the best person to get a hold onto to put Shahrukh down is Sanjay. Who know’s what the ‘real’ truth is with these people. but all i know is that I’m a great fan of Shahrukh, no matter what others say.
OSO is nothing much. SRK acts the same smitten lover again.. the only character he can portray well. But in this movie he looks pretty bad, thin and tired,the abs are ridiculous. Deepika is pathetic, she simply cant act, waaay too stiff and nervy.
Now saawariya on the other hand was an ambitious project for SLB becos he was launching two newcomers but he’s a mature and a hugely talented Director, he knows what he’s doing and he has come out a winner with the movie. Its beautiful and has premiered Sonam who is really talented and will one day be a Bollywood Queen- She’s a natural and wins hands down in the battle with Deepika.
I think Salman and SLB should talk it through, because the bachan’s are taking advantage of the fight. I mean i LOVE the bachan’s but Aishwarya not so much!

I think Bajirao Mastani should star Salman, and Deepika! She is graceful and gorgeous.SLB originally wanted Aishwarya, and Deepika resembles her, yet is much prettier!

Umm SRK movies are getting lame. Ash n Abha need to make it on their own, really over rated. Bollywood needs new faces, getting tired of all these old actors, Amir, Salman, Amitabh, Akshay, etc.. Movies were suppose to get better, it seems they are getting worst.

Saawariya is a master piece! Not meant for average crowd. In a country where people make a trash like OSO a super hit, directors like SLB cannot be appreciated! SRK has made a complete fool out of himself acting like a cool dude at 42! He is not even tolerable in the second half of the movie. As for Farah Khan, her level of intelligence showed when she was a judge on Indian Idol! The lady does not even know how to talk properly! Well, very disppointed to realize that India will never change and will keep encouraging movies like OSO!
