Director Imitiaz Ali was keen on making dance master Saroj Khan to choreograph the songs for Jab We Met.

But the task master’s dates were becoming difficult to secure and the crew had to settle for an another choreographer.

During the shooting of ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ track in Manali, the crew of Jab We Met discovered that Saroj Khan was shooting for another film. Imtiaz met her immediately and requested her to choreograph Yeh Ishq, to which she finally agreed.
