Hrithik Roshan has been approached by director Stephen Gaghan (Abandon, Syriana) for the title role of his movie Kaafir (Unbeliever).
Gaghan was impressed after watching Hrithik in Lakshya and Dhoom 2 and now wants him to star in this Hollywood terrorist thriller. The film is based on a Muslim who is branded a ‘kafir’ when he begins working for the CIA.
Hrithik is interested in acting in the film, but only if the title of the movie is changed. Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan has advised him that the word ‘kaafir’ might not go down well with Muslim fans.
